Este año la salida para ver aves marinas organizada por SEO/Birdlife partió del puerto de Blanes, en la provincia de Girona, en vez del de Roses. No se si fue por este motivo, pero noté ciertas diferencias en las especies observadas. Se pudieron ver los tres tipos de pardelas típicas, pero a cambio no se vio ningún alcatraz y pocas especies de gaviotas. La lista completa de especies (12) observadas podéis verla en este enlace.
This year the tour to see seabirds, organized by SEO/Birdlife, departed from the port of Blanes, in the province of Girona, instead of that of Roses. I do not know if it was for this reason, but I noticed certain differences in the species observed. We had good views of the three shearwater species, but there were no gannets and few gull species. La pardela más abundante fue sin duda la balear, que se dejó ver muy cerca del barco.
The most abundant shearwater was the balearic shearwater, very near to the boat.
Pero también aparecieron algunas pardelas mediterráneas aisladas, como la que se observa debajo.
But there were also some isolated mediterranean shearwaters, like the one in the pictures below.
Abundantísimas eran, así mismo, las pardelas cenicientas mediterráneas. Creo que nunca las había visto tan cerca.
There were, also, lots of Scopoli's shearwaters. I think that I never saw them so near to the boat.
También se dejaron ver varios paíños euroepos, con buenas observaciones tanto dorsales como ventrales.
European storm petrels were also around the boat, with good dorsal and ventral views.
Añadir, finalmente, las omnipresentes gaviotas patiamarillas y alguna de Audouin y cabecinegra, así como varios peces luna.
And finally, the abundant yellow-legged gulls were also present, together with some Audouin's and mediterranean gulls, and some ocean sunfish.
